Plug-in hybrid emissions charted by power source
Depending on the power source, plug-in hybrids emit between a tad more and much less CO2 per kilometre than hybrid-electrical vehicles.
Micheal Graham Richard posted an interesting chart on Treehugger. "Not surprisingly, coal without carbon capture is the worst power source, and even 'advanced coal burning' isn't much better. And as the source of 43% of U.S. electricity, it must be taken seriously."
