London European Partnership for Transport
The London European Partnership for Transport (LEPT) was established in 2006 to coordinate and promote a sustainable transport agenda for London and its boroughs in Europe.
Its three main focuses are: better sharing of information about research and projects in the EU and publicising examples of good practice in London; increased participation in EU projects; and more involvement in transport policy decisions and legislation at the EU level.
The partnership also helps manage investment bids, both locally and internationally. 29 of the 33 London boroughs are members of the partnership, together with a range of other agencies, including TfL, Department for Transport, London Development Agency, and sustainable transport networks European Platform on Mobility Management, Eurocities and Polis.
