What we'll drive tomorrow according to the big five
A fine read where the different approaches from five big car makers to many of the challenges becomes evident. A tale by GM, Ford, Toyota, Honda and Chrysler.
A highlight are the car makers stances on E85. Where GM is fully comitted ("the fuel vs food debate is a bit of a red herring"), Toyota is more cautious ("there is a place for ethanol, but many, many challenges ahead"). Chrysler apparently has not thought this issue through as of yet ("That's a good question for a company that makes fuel. We build cars. ;) "). How's that for a communication strategy!
