Partners for Swedish biogas project wanted
Several Swedish public transportation authorities and bus companies are looking for partners who can provide solutions for liquefied biogas (LBG) and dual fuel technology.
According to an announcement on the Biogasmax homepage, the project consortium intends to "convert current diesel buses to operate primarily on bio-methane". Interested partners should move
quickly, because before the end of this year the first eight buses should be brought on the road in the Swedish city of Uppsala. "If it is successful, the concept will be implemented on a large scale, in Sweden and others countries."
Part of the consortium are, amongst other organisations, bus companies Swebus AB and Gamla Uppsala Buss AB, as well as LBG producers ScandinavianGtS AB. The project will be carried out in cooperation with Biogas Öst, that promotes the use of bio-methane in Sweden.
