Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking calling for proposals

The indicative budget of EUR 71.3 million, allocated to this call by the European Commission, covers the following five application areas:

• transportation and refuelling infrastructure, amongst which large-scale demonstration of road vehicles and refuelling infrastructure;
  
• hydrogen production and distribution;
  
• stationary power generation and combined heat and power (CHP);
  
• early markets;
  
• cross-cutting issues.

Consortia have to be composed of at least three legal entities established in EU Member States or Associated Countries, but no two in the same country. All three entities must be independent of each other and at least one must be an industry or research organisation.

FCH JU aims to facilitate and accelerate the development and deployment of cost-competitive European hydrogen and fuel cell-based energy systems and component technologies for applications. It is a joint effort of the European Community and industry.
